Pineapple “Shaped Lettering”

Sometimes you just had to write “pineapple” in the shape of a pineapple! Used a wet on wet watercolor technique to get the color effects in the body.

Sympathy Calligraphy Card

I finally got to use my new Fine Tec gold paint- by adding masking fluid to this card using a calligraphy nib, then painting the strong gold block in the center and light shimmery gold on the top/bottom. It was really beautiful in person. Made this for a coworker who recently had a family member…

Pretty Envelopes Make the Card

Now that I’ve gotten into calligraphy more, I am more and more focused on the envelope and not just what’s inside. I’ve been having so much fun addressing the envelopes for my birthday cards this month and thank you cards for family.

I am always amazed at how much improvement I see after just a few minutes of practice. I’ve been doing calligraphy since middle school, but gravitate…
