I am really obsessed with illustrations lately- particularly super feminine or sketchy sorts. My favorite artist out there is Inslee… found the illustration featured on this card and knew it would be perfect for my sis. I printed it on cardstock, added some glitter to the black tights (totally picturing them with glitter) and added a hand-written sentiment in red vellum. A few greenish shiny paint splatters and it was done!

One of my goals for this year is to try to start sketching myself- maybe next Christmas she’ll get an original 🙂
